SSO Configuration - Self Managed
At Gnosis Freight, we want to ensure your team has a seamless and secure login experience. By enabling Single Sign-On (SSO), you can simplify user management and enhance security by allowing your users to log in using their existing identity provider credentials. Below are the steps needed to configure SSO for your organization.
Step 1: Accessing Your SSO Configuration
To start configuring SSO for your Gnosis Freight account:
- Log in to Gnosis Freight.
- Navigate to the Admin Dashboard by selecting it from the main menu.
- In the dashboard, select Settings > SSO Configuration.
Step 2: Choose Your Identity Provider
Gnosis Freight supports many identity providers, including Okta, Azure AD, Google Workspace, and many others. Here’s how you can begin:
- From the SSO Configuration page, click Add Identity Provider.
- Select your preferred Identity Provider (IdP) from the dropdown options.
If your IdP isn't listed, manually select Custom Provider to enter the configuration.
Step 3: Configuring the Identity Provider
Once you’ve chosen your IdP, you’ll need to provide some details:
- Issuer URL: This is the URL provided by your IdP. It uniquely identifies the IdP.
- SAML Endpoint: This is the Single Sign-On URL provided by your IdP.
- X.509 Certificate: This is your IdP’s public certificate, which we’ll use to verify incoming SAML assertions.
Most identity providers will supply these details when you create an app or integration on their platform.
Step 4: Completing the Configuration
After entering the details provided by your IdP:
- Save the Configuration in your Gnosis Freight Admin Dashboard.
- Test the Connection to ensure that everything is configured correctly. When testing the SSO flow, you should be redirected to your IdP’s login page.
- Once the test is successful, you can enable SSO for your organization.
Step 5: Enabling SSO for Your Team
After successfully testing the connection, toggle the Enable SSO switch to enable SSO for your users. All team members associated with your organization can use SSO to log in.
If your team encounters any issues during the login process, feel free to contact our support team at [email protected].
