Demurrage fees are incurred when a container is not picked up or out-gated from the terminal within the agreed free time. In addition to quickly being able to view your containers at risk of demurrage, Gnosis uses a proprietary data hierarchy (outlined below) to best estimate the potential charges associated to each specific container.

How are charges estimated?

Gnosis Freight uses a data hierarchy to estimated charges. We will always use one of the three below sources, in the order listed below:

1. Charges that come directly from the terminal
2. Custom contracts that are given to use on your behalf (if applicable)
3. Generic spot-rate contracts
