SSO Configuration - Managed Setup
At Gnosis Freight, we understand that setting up Single Sign-On (SSO) can be complex. That’s why we offer a managed setup service, where we’ll handle the configuration process for you. All we need are some details from your Identity Provider (IdP), and we’ll take care of the rest. Here’s what you need to do to get started.
Step 1: Contact Us
To begin the process, please email us at [email protected] with the following subject: "Request for SSO Configuration". We’ll reply to confirm the next steps.
Step 2: Provide Identity Provider Details
To configure SSO on your behalf, we’ll need some information from your Identity Provider (IdP). Please gather the following details and send them to us:
- Issuer URL: This URL is unique to your IdP and identifies the source of authentication requests.
- SAML Endpoint: This is the Single Sign-On URL that your users will be redirected to when they log in.
- X.509 Certificate: This public certificate, provided by your IdP, allows us to verify SAML assertions.
- Any Additional Security Requirements: If your IdP has any specific security configurations or rules, let us know so we can adjust the setup accordingly.
Once you have this information, email it to [email protected]. Please include any relevant documentation from your IdP to ensure accurate configuration.
Step 3: Configuration and Testing
After receiving the necessary details, we’ll begin configuring SSO for your organization:
- Configuration: We’ll input the provided Issuer URL, SAML Endpoint, and X.509 Certificate into our system.
- Testing: We’ll test the SSO connection by performing a mock login to ensure everything works as expected.
If we encounter any issues, we’ll reach out to you for additional information or to clarify configurations.
Step 4: Confirmation and Go-Live
Once the testing is successful, we’ll confirm with you that SSO is ready to go live. From there:
- Enable SSO: We’ll enable SSO for your organization on Gnosis Freight.
- User Notifications: We can assist in notifying your team that they can now log in using SSO through your IdP.
Step 5: Ongoing Support
If you need any further assistance with your SSO configuration, including future changes or troubleshooting, don’t hesitate to contact us at [email protected]. We’re here to help ensure that your SSO integration runs smoothly.
